While on the ascension path there can be long periods of isolation and judgment, so much so it could seem like the two are often thought to be synonymous with one another. Your opinions will often not resonate with those around you, and may often lead to the loss of communication from friends, family and peers alike. A healthy amount of skepticism is needed and should be embodied in order to anchor our opinions in a space that comes from truth and isn’t something that has been pushed upon us.
It’s imperative that we build our discernment when dealing with the opinions of others because often others negative opinions of us are only a reflection of their own self doubt and lack of achievement. New ideas and information can be scary to individuals who lost their way along the path and they have made their bed with sheets of doubt and fear, and to express unpopular opinions, strips those sheets bare and renders them useless in a way that only amplifies the fears of those individuals who have made a living operating in the shadows of truth. Use this skepticism from the outside world as motivation and confirmation that you are on the right path, as individuals often don’t care for nonsense, but are quickly angered by a truth they are not able to logically resonate with. Let the opinions of these lost souls pass like the wind as they will be plenty and come from multiple directions and angels.
Overtime you will see the noise from these individuals start to quiet down as your truths begin to manifest themselves into the reality of the local community at large. At this point the fears of your truth alone will start to silence the crowd as their inner circle begins to separate and dismantle due to the sand like confidence that they were built upon. You’ll notice most of your biggest doubters’ opinions are not based in reality or fact and they are usually just repeating old ideas that were handed down to them as they have yet to develop the ability to form their own opinions and thoughts on heavy subjects that concern humanity as a whole.
Navigating Dark Nights of the Soul
When we think of spirituality there are distinct images that come to mind, one is the vagabond that travels and lives a free life isolating themselves in their own beliefs, but they don’t make any real change in the reality around them. And then you have the other vision of spirituality in which the individual has spent time studying up unto a certain point on the path and stopped to begin monetizing or acting like a teacher to others, often while still sitting at a low level spiritually along the life long path. Neither of these two architypes embrace the true dark night of the soul which is necessary to truly discover one’s self and the inner workings and capabilities of the individual.
Carl Jung's description of the "Dark Night of the Soul" is a profound exploration of the psychological and spiritual journey that many individuals face. It is a period of inner crisis where life as previously understood no longer makes sense, leading to a search for truth and purpose. This experience is not merely a sign of failure but a necessary and essential stage of transformation. Jung emphasized that this descent into darkness is not a punishment but a necessary and deeply human stage of transformation. During this time, individuals may feel a loss of identity or purpose, questioning their beliefs, values, and direction in life. This period is often seen as the birthplace of authenticity, where the psyche demands a renegotiation of authority, leading to a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.” This is the true path to spirituality, as it is not something to be packaged and sound through classes, as these classes are just tools that we use as navigational pieces along the path, but not the path in itself. Often during these time we spend lots of time in isolation and reflection, this should not be taken as a bad thing but as a necessary time we need to clear our mind of external influences to get in touch with who and what we are inside, this is the starting point for our compass as we search for our inner true north, becoming one with the sun and moon that guide us through the days and nights when no one is around to rely on but ourselves.
Overcoming Spiritual Plateaus
Plateaus in spirituality can often look like moments of quietness, it will feel like there is no inner spark, or at times like the universe has stopped communicating with us. It is important to remember that the road to ascension is not a linear road and there may be times when we are accelerating at a pace so fast that ideas and revelations come to us seemingly out of nowhere. We can connect dots with no problem, and synchronicities are plentiful throughout the reality around us. At other times it may seem like the universe is hitting the breaks on our lives. Don’t think of this as a negative thing, but as a clue from your spirit guides that you are on the right path and their assistance is not needed during this time.
Use this time to rest and be sure in the knowledge that has already been acquired, because this path is a life long journey there may be a requirement for us to plateau in order for us to now take notice of the work we have already completed. Use this as motivation and rest assure in your knowing and continue to live as you always have, signs and synchronicities will reveal themselves when needed, and in times of need your spirit guides will always step in to provide a revelation that will seemingly get you from one day to the next, step by step and piece by piece one must build their own tower or inner temple. Life we discussed previously a solid foundation is needed to combat false narratives so any self-doubt or disbelief in one’s own truths can cause the soil of our foundation to crumble under the weight of the for coming revelations and doubt from outsiders.
